The United Interfaith Ministry & Institute

*NOTICE - PLEASE READ*

September 21, 2007 Update - United Interfaith Ministries and the United Interfaith Institute are currently in a growth and renewal phase. Unfortunately, changes are slow in coming.  As some individuals have already realized, we had a problem in receiving email and it took three months to actually figure it out. If you had tried to contact us, but received no reply, we deeply apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.  We can only ask that you try again by clicking here.

It now looks like our Updated Interfaith Minister Training Program will not be brought online until after the new year. As such, we have decided to reopen our current Interfaith Minister Training Program to new students until December 21, 2007.

As you can see, our links above can now be utilized to view the other sections of the site.  Keep an eye on these as they will be changing over the next few months. Of course, if you find a link that is broken, by all means let us know.

United Interfaith Institute is and will be seeking accreditation through accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. This is a slow (up to five years) process that is considerably expensive (up to $5000.00 per agency) for an eight-year period. Anyone who has already gone through this process knows that just getting to the paperwork submission point normally take eighteen months.

We are implementing a new Work-Study Program where part or all of a student's tuition can be paid through work that will directly or indirectly help the growth of the Ministry and/or the Institute. Work-Study assignments are based on ability and skills of the student as well as financial need.  Amount of tuition that can be substituted for work study will be determined on a case by case basis.  Please contact us for more information by clicking here.

We have updated our tuition payment options for the current Interfaith Minister Training Program to include the work-study program, quarterly payments and per course payments.

The New World Religions Diploma Course is currently being rewritten and will be brought online January 1, 2008. The Current World Religions Diploma Course is still available.

All students, both current and past, are being asked to contact us to update our records. Please click here.

We ask for your patience during this transitional period. They say all good things come to those who wait.  In this case, great things will come.  Just wait and see!

Thank you to everyone that has made United Interfaith a success.  We look forward to serving you through the new year and beyond!

Naturally,

Rev. Gary L. Reynolds, N.D.

Welcome to the website of United Interfaith Ministries, Inc.  United Interfaith Ministries is a nonprofit religious organization incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania.  Our mission is to promote interfaith awareness and harmony through service, ministry, and education.  Here is a breakdown of what our mission is all about, and how we will go about accomplishing our goals.

Education

United Interfaith Ministries is also committed to providing a quality education to those that are interested in becoming interfaith ministers, as well as those that are interested in learning about the world's religions, through our educational branch, the United Interfaith Institute.  The Institute features a year-long interfaith minister training program that focuses on four important areas:  World Religions, Ministerial Functions, Pastoral Counseling, and Ethics & Leadership.  Our world religions study program was designed for those that are interested in learning about many of the world's religions.  It covers 23 different religions and belief systems from Atheism to Zoroastrianism.

United Interfaith Ministries is striving towards achieving religious harmony and understanding through the use of the various methods available to us.  With your help and support, we hope to reach our goals and establish a true interfaith ministry that will reach out to people of all religious backgrounds.
